Percy Tau Aims for Another CAF Champions League Victory with Al Ahly


Percy Tau is excited about the opportunity to win another CAF Champions League with Al Ahly, one of Egypt's top football clubs.

Tau and his team are set to face Tunisia's Esperance in the finals. The first match will take place in Tunis this Saturday, with the second leg scheduled for May 25 in Cairo.

Tau expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I will be happy to be part of the history of this club to win this one."

This marks Tau's third consecutive CAF Champions League final with Al Ahly. In the 2021/22 season, Al Ahly were runners-up to Wydad Casablanca, but they came back strong to win the title last year against the same team.

Recently, Tau was honored as the men’s Footballer of the Year at the inaugural Cosafa Awards.

This recognition came after his key role in Al Ahly’s Champions League victory and their third-place finish at last year’s FIFA Club World Cup.

Tau is eager to make history with Al Ahly and secure another Champions League title, bringing happiness to himself and the club's supporters.
